SAC

The Study Active Certificate (SAC) is a certificate which is meant as a way to distinguish students who did activities besides their studies. These activities are either study-related activities, career-related activities or committees. For each of these activities a certain amount of points is awarded, which are specified below.

Some points are tracked by the board, such as the committees and activities which are organised by Pyrus, and other activities have to be communicated to the board via email (pyrus.bwa@wur.nl). This is the responsibility of the student, and has to be communicated within 3 months of when the activity happened. Also proof has to be provided to the board, such as pictures and tickets. The students also must provide an explanation why these activities were useful, and (if applicable) in which category they want to receive SAC points.

The threshold to get your SAC is as follows:

– 12 points for committees

– 9 points for study related activities

– 9 points for career related activities

When meeting the conditions of SAC, the student will get a SAC diploma on their bachelor or master graduation.

The points per activity can be found in the file below (the meaning of the bold and italic cells is that those activities/committees are in multiple categories, and the student has to choose a category in which the points will be awarded).
